Gold take
At the end of a delve, the party tallies up their loot and decides how to split it up amongst each other so they can use it to get XP.
Generally, the wealthy is divided evenly amongst the participants. If someone wants to be generous and give another player extra gold if they need it, they can if they want.
Similarly, if there's a specific item that's wanted for its function, like a gem that would normally be cashed out for XP for the group, but could instead be used as a spell component -- the player could ask the group if they can take it for themselves, and then compensate them with their share of gold to make up for its value.
For example, if Aekenon and Adun and Katie and Arkturus are on a four man delve together, and they find an amulet worth 100 gold pieces, and a ruby worth 40 gold pieces, normally they would sell both and split the profits evenly, netting them 25 gold pieces each from the amulet and 10 gold pieces each from the ruby's sale. The total would be 35 GP to each player.
But suppose Adun needs the ruby for a spell component. If the others agree, he can take the ruby, and then pay them each their share of what the ruby was worth, ie., 10 gold pieces each. Adun pays the others 10 GP each and takes the ruby, and everyone else ends up with the same amount of gold.
